Now I am going to address your post:
First, congratulations for noticing that what you are doing is making a difference with your child.
1.) What I always found helpful in the beginning was doing a likert scale each day along with a complete list of food, sups & environment issues. Basically, you list the top 10 features about your child that you see on a daily basis. Example: follows directions, tantrums, sleep, energy, stimminess, attentiveness...etc. You make a list & then you rank each one on a scale of one to 10. 10 always equals "The best you have ever seen in a certain day for that category" & 0 is the absolute worst. This makes the scale always evolving as your child heals. This allows you to go back thru & pull out patterns.

This was our consensus place for parents to start following our Summit last weekend (w/Dr Mercola)
3.) Whenever you down-regulate one microbe, a slightly different one will take its place unless the overall environment shifts to not support them at the same time. This is all about food, usually the better the diet with more whole & raw foods the more the gut will heal & not support so much unhealthy microbe dominance & allow the healthy ones to work properly. Having a good Probiotic on board always makes sense.
Also when it comes to anti-microbials...it almost always makes sense to rotate among what you have & aWAY from whatever probiotics (and RNA ammonia if you use that).
4.) The goal is to TRUST yourself more than what you read. You may have to work on yourself enough to get to this point, but it can be vital. This does not mean ignore what you learn, but this GABA example is a perfect example of doing something that your testing said no to because it made sense & you paid the price all day long (along with your child). The ideal situation is to understand the mode of action, usage, dosage & contra-indications of each thing you consider & then test based on this. This is just a tiny part of why food can be so great to use instead of sups because there is a gentler down-side when we veer off course.
As far as why with the GABA...go to Suzanne's page & post the question for her ...she is our resident Genetics the Yasko way expert.
5.) Detoxification as classically thought of should be much later in your process from what I can tell from your post. There are lots of binders to use: clay, chlorella, activated charcoal, etc. that always play a role but long before you use something like cilantro you want to be far along in your "clean up" phase. This turned out to be the theme of our last weekend summit & we came up with this prioritized list in a quote from Dr Mercola for his next weeks newsletter:
"But what is the best way to detox and rid your system of toxins?
As I write this I just returned from a three day think tank outside of LA with some of the top experts in autism detoxification (www.thriiive.com ) and we explored some of the major modalities that are available.
The group came up with the following consensus and priority:
1. Healthy Living
2. EMF
3. Water
4. Food
5. Healthy Movement
6. Emotions & Relationships
7. Tests
8. Organ Support
9. Supplements
10. Detox Tools
As you can see detoxification is a very important tool but it is clearly not high on the priority list of what to do if you are sick. It is one of the last steps in the process. I will be providing more information about these in the future as our group comes to a consensus but the key is that detoxification is a late step done after you have started the basics.
If you fail to follow an orderly process and begin detoxification processes prematurely before you are ready you ca become very sick." -Dr Mercola referring to the THRiiiVE list we established.
6.) As far as the Glutathione & Lyme thing...post that on Tamis page. Therapeutic Trials of stuff is usually a good idea especially if it tests. Avoiding it because you read a conflict should only create what it has in you which is a question to be answered before you proceed. So post the question & find some good options to test.
7.) As far as allergies...if you focus on the top ten list above...alot of the inflammation that is causing the highly reactive state should go down & you will have fewer allergies to handle...but avoiding the worst ones is always wise & learning about different ways to eliminate the allergies can wait.
